Top 10 Best Practices to Record a Great Interview

  1. Treat your surroundings for audio recording. Minimize the amount of noise-producing things such as phones, nearby appliances, dogs, etc.
  2. Restart your computer before the session.
  3. Join the session using Google Chrome.
  4. Wear headphones while recording.
  5. Ensure your desired microphone is selected as the Audio In device within the Settings panel.
  6. Record a soundcheck once you & your guests are all in the session.
  7. Record a few seconds of room tone for post-production.
  8. Don’t refresh the page while recording or uploading.
  9. Download & save the recordings before you leave.
  10. If questions arise or anything goes wrong, tap Send Us a Message from within the Member drop-down.
